Sune Vorre appointed new Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Abacus Medicine Group.

The Abacus Medicine Group has appointed Sune Vorre as its new Chief Information Officer and new member of the chief executive management team. Sune Vorre comes from a position as CIO of Dagrofa, one of Denmark’s largest retailers.

CEO and founder Flemming Wagner says: “Sune Vorre’s strong track-record from the intersection of business and IT technology will be a valuable addition to help the Abacus Medicine Group reach its ambitious goals for 2026 and beyond. He has demonstrated excellent abilities to drive change and foster development, and I am very happy to welcome him to the Abacus Medicine Group.”

Sune Vorre’s responsibilities will include the full IT architecture and the strategic, long-term IT roadmap of the Abacus Medicine Group. Capabilities within data management and analytics are already a competitive advantage for the Abacus Medicine Group today, and the company is planning significant investments in both systems and additional employees with data and engineering backgrounds in the coming years.
